Immaculate Collection

Its been a while with life, sports, holidays, and so many colors to choose from!  I'm becoming an addict with the Chanel brand...the colors are very now and the quality is superb.  A bit expensive for my taste but the colors just seem to be...'priceless.'  Here is the color Nouvelle Vague on my toes.  Honestly, I would NEVER try a color like this...I'm a red girl and this color makes me stop to look at my toes.  Its so perfect for summer.
Want another summer color?  Try Chanel's Rivera.  Its ah-mazing.  An amazing pink that will look good on anyone.  Seriously.  Try this.  If you can get your hands on it, just get it.  You won't regret it.  I looove this color and it stayed on for 10 days...10 days with a little chipping due to me taking off my jewelry every day!

I just got the newest colors from Chanel called Paradoxal and Jade Rose.  Paradoxal is...wow!  Gorg.  Jade Rose is a definite every day but I can't wait to try Paradoxal!  I'll be working on my project during the World Cup on Sunday...GO SPAIN!

 A pretty soft blue.

Hawt pink.

Eh...

This is Rapid Red by Sally Hansen.  It's an Insta-Dri nail color.  This is a true red with no sort of shimmer or sheerness to it.  Its a nice red if you just need a classic red.  Now, this wasn't my favorite because in 2 days it started to chip.  I haven't had it on for long so I would say that if you wear it for a special occasion and you need a quick dry this would be a good one.  I also liked the brush...it was a bit thick and weird at first but it was smooth going on.
What's next?  A bright pink?  A fiesty orange?  A cool gold?  Oh man, the nail color world is endless!  I love it and I hope I can get some ideas from you all.  So give me the scoop on what is out there and your opinions.  Every idea counts!  Peace and Love.

Keepin' it red.

Summer Fruits

So I checked out some of Essie's nail colors and look what I found!  Quite a summer treat!  Essie's Watermelon is GORGEOUS.  The color is a major pop to any gladiator, wedge or fun summer sandals!  I wore my Bernardo snake skin t-strap sandals with this color and I think I might have a hard time putting on any other color on my toes.  This one is definitely a must!  A very hot pink and you can actually get by with one coat!  2 coats makes me feel a bit secure that it won't chip but I couldn't believe how smooth it went on!  Try, try, try!  You won't regret it.

Next up: Reds.  I need to find the best red out there.  I'm on a mission.  Who's with me?

Watermelon keeps me happy.

In a New York Minute!

Its been forver since I wrote...won't happen again.  This is N.Y.C.'s Quick Dry Nail Polish in Chelsea.  I've had this on since Wednesday and its Monday...not bad for a nail polish that was barely $2!  The color is not exactly red but a darkish red.  This is a red that ANYONE could wear.  Plus its quick drying...that is such a plus!  I normally use OPI's drip dry drops (say that 5 times!) so I don't worry about ruining my polish...this time I just worried about my top coat!

LOST!

So I got caught up with the weekend by going to California and seeing Lost Live the Final Celebration that I didn't have time to blog about my new color!  Its from Sephora and its called Cover Me in Petals.  Its a fiesty orange!  Its not for the faint of heart.  Its all about showing off your hands and the color...oh the color is bright!  I have to try this on my toes cause I'm sure it'll look great with sandals this summer.  So here is a picture of the nail color-if you can see between my husband Claudio, Jorge Garcia and our friend Cameron.  This color will be remembered in part by LOST!
Claudio, Jorge Garcia (Hurley from Lost), myself, and Cameron...oh and nail color is in there.

Let the Sunshine in...

I never thought I would be putting a pic up of my feet...HA!  Well, I guess if I'm talking about nail color then let it be.  I got a pedicure on Saturday so that I can show off my paws in California where its warm and I can wear sandals.  This is OPI's Socra-Tease Me.  You can't really tell in my professional picture that it has this orangish, pink iridescent mix to the main red color.  Lots of fun when you are thinking of summer that is around the color.  Its a great pick me up!  With the weather so gloomy here in Utah, I went staight to this color without looking back...now if only the sun would consider staying...

A Golden Opportunity

My first project!  I've decided to try out this new shade by Chanel.  Its from the Orient Extrême Collection called Gold Lamé.  I find it to be kinda fabulous with a touch of shimmer and goes well with my 3 week old tan from Hawaii...note to self: must go back soon!  This color is great for every day wear and for someone who is looking for something different.  I will be trying on other colors but I'd like to hear thoughts or even suggestions...Love it, leave it, toss it?

Hand model pose...not really.
Subtle yet tells a story.
